Welcome to e-lead!

Here at elevate, we’re passionate about developing college leaders and sending them out to serve in our communities, our college campuses, in the workforce, and all over the world. Over the past couple years, we’ve developed a plan, which challenges college-age people to take the next step in their leadership growth – it’s called elevate Leadership Enrichment And Development (more commonly known to as, e-LEAD.)

The three-fold purpose of e-LEAD is to build a team of college-age students, who are growing spiritually, learning essential leadership skills, and engaging in practical ministry opportunities. Since e-LEAD launched in 2006 we’ve trained & deployed hundreds of college students, and this summer we’d love to have you join the e-LEAD team.

Interested? Wanna know more? Here’s what you can do:

  1. Begin praying and ask God to work in you and through you this summer.
  2. Read the e-LEAD Overview & Commitments.
  3. Review the Summer Ministry Descriptions, and identify your top three areas to serve this summer.
  4. Complete the online e-LEAD Application.

Ministry Descriptions

The three-fold purpose of e-LEAD is to build a team of college-age students, who are growing spiritually, learning essential leadership skills, and engaging in practical ministry opportunities.

This summer, we are providing several opportunities to engage in practical, hands-on ministry. Review the following list and carefully read the description, commitment, and requirements for each of the ministries listed below. Then prayerfully consider which of these ministries you’d like to serve in this summer. And be sure to indicate your top 3 choices on your e-LEAD Application. 

Children's Ministry: Kidzone and Kids Camp
Middle School Ministry: REV, Club Mid, Camp Getaway
High School Ministry: Fusion and Camp Black Lake
College Ministry: Summer Escape CREW and Teach Team 

Kidzone

kidzone is our ministry for kids, birth through 5th grade. Serving in kidzone is a great way to invest in the lives of kids (and parents) by providing a loving environment for kids during our weekend worship services.

Commitments
     - 1.5 hour commitment. 
     - Weekly or every other week commitments are preferred. 
     - Once a month training.

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD application (Due Friday, May 31).
     2. Brief interview with a children’s ministry leader. 

Kids Camp

Kids Camp is a 4-day camp for elementary age kids where e-LEAD Team Members can assist as coaches. July 8-11, 8am - 1pm.

Commitments
     - 4 day commitment. 
     - Attend Kids Camp training: Sunday, July 7, 2-4pm. 

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Brief interview with a children’s ministry leader.
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings. 

Rev 

REV is our ministry for middle school students. REV is offered at every site during weekend worship services. By serving in REV e-LEAD Team Members have the opportunity to invest in the lives of middle school students.

Commitments
     - 1.5 – 2.5 hour commitment.
     - Weekly or every other week commitments are preferred.
     - Attend Revolution leader gatherings 1 hour prior to REV for ongoing training and planning.

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Brief interview with a student ministry leader.
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings. 

Club Mid 

Club Mid is a 2-week day camp for middle school students. e-LEAD Team Members are given the opportunity to serve at Club Mid in a variety of ways: team leaders, small group leaders, set up and clean up, games and activities, building relationships, and assisting with chapel. Every year Club Mid is a very active and spiritually rewarding experience for our e-LEAD Team Members.

Week 1: June 24-27 (Monday-Thursday), 8am-4pm
Week 2: July 1-4 (Monday-Thursday), 8am-4pm

Commitments
     - 2 week commitment.
     - Attend Club Mid training: Saturday, June 15, 2-4pm.

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Brief interview with a student ministry leader. 
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings 

Camp Getaway

Camp Getaway is our 5-day middle school summer camp. e-LEAD Team Members are given an opportunity to serve in a variety of aspects at camp: cabin leaders, recreation, set up and clean up, and food service.  

July 22-26 (Monday-Friday)

Commitments
     - 1 week commitment.
     - Attend Camp Getaway info meeting: Saturday, July 6, 3-5pm.
     - Attend Camp Getaway leadership training: Sunday, July 21, 2-4pm.

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Brief interview with a student ministry leader. 
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings 

Fusion

Fusion is our ministry for high school students. By serving in Fusion you can help high school students grow closer to the Lord. During Fusion, e-LEAD Team Members have an opportunity to connect with students, lead Break Out groups, help set up/tear down, or participate in the skits, announcements, and/or programs.

Commitments
     - 1.5 – 2.5 hour commitment.
     - Weekly or every other week commitments are preferred.
     - Attend monthly leader gatherings 1 hour prior to Fusion.

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Brief interview with a student ministry leader.
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings. 

Camp Black Lake

Camp Black Lake is our weeklong summer camp for high school students. e-LEAD Team Members are given an opportunity to serve in a variety of aspects at camp: cabin leaders, recreation, set up and clean up, and food service. 

July 14-20 (Sunday-Saturday)

Commitments
     - 1 week commitment.
     - Attend leadership meetings: June 9, 1-3pm | June 30, 6-8pm

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Brief interview with a student ministry leader.
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings. 

Summer Escape Crew

Summer Escape is elevate’s big summer retreat. It takes a small army to make Summer Escape happen. This year, e-LEAD Team Members can sign up to serve on various “Crews”: the Cabin Crew, Registration Crew, Vehicle Crew, Set-Up Crew, Activity Crew, and many more.

Commitments
     - 5 days (June 21-25).
     - Special training & preparation will be required for various Crews.

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Must attend all 5 days & 4 nights of Summer Escape.
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings. 

Tech Team

This ministry is committed to helping people respond to Christ through audio and visual tools.  Depending on your schedule and skill level this could include serving at elevate on Wednesday nights, or our weekend worship.

Commitments
     - 1.5 – 2.5 hour commitment.
     - Weekly or every other week commitments are preferred.
     - Attend scheduled rehearsals .

Requirements
     1. Complete the online e-LEAD Application by Friday, May 31.
     2. Shadow and train with one of our Tech Ministry leaders.
     3. Attend weekly e-LEAD meetings.
