What is New Heights In Motion?
New Heights In Motion exists to give people a place to serve others out of a response to God's work in their lives. Individual and group service opportunities provide a way for people to impact the community around them in simple, selfless and spiritual ways.
How does New Heights In Motion work?
- Service Days: New Heights Church hosts quarterly Service Day Projects to help local organizations in our community.
- Helping Hands: The purpose is to meet the practical needs of people at New Heights in personal ways for those that don't have other resources.
- Servant Festival: The first two full weeks in August where we serve and celebrate in various ways throughout our community.
- Thanksgiving Baskets: Collect and distribute food to folks in need in our community during Thanksgiving.
- Christmas Sharing Tree: Collect and distribute gifts to folks and local schools in need in our community during Christmas.

It was a Privilege
Stories of Impact
I had talked to a couple of people after the singing at the senior center during our last Service Day. This one gentleman had such a nice voice and I had to let him know. He asked me to say a prayer. I know how to pray, but had never prayed in front of anyone. When I was through the prayer, he said what he liked most was I prayed for everyone - not just him. I am so thankful that God let me be a part of the Service Day and hope to be involved in the future.
Thank you to all who participated in this project. This is just one of the stories from New Heights in Motion and just an example of how you can be an Everyday Servant.

Service Day
The next Service Day is Saturday, April 24, 9am. Mark your calendars and join us.
You don't have to wait until then to look for ways to serve. We encourage you to ask God to use you every day.
Here's a story from a high schooler who helped:
"We went to Englund Manor, a senior living complex, to paint. We were able to get the painting done quickly. It was fun to connect with some of the residents. It would be great to go back and play games and just hang out."
