NH Student Ministries Missions

Global Outreach is a unique ministry opportunity for high school and college-aged students involved with our student ministries at New Heights to be stretched and serve God across the world.

Serving Slovakia
Serving Slovakia is a short team mission experience for high school and college-aged students to see God work in and through them while sharing the love of Christ with the people of Slovakia.

Our Partner

Since 1998, the Center for Christian Education, located in Martin, Slovakia, has been a place where people of all ages can learn and experience the love of Christ in this post-communist part of the world. New Heights has had the privilege of partnering with them in a variety of ways, including sending our first short-term mission team in 2007.

Our Plan

We will spend about 2 weeks in Martin, Slovakia. One week will be spent planning and staffing a camp for incoming high school freshman (think New Heights High School Camp – but in Slovakia). This camp will help lay a foundation and connection for the upcoming year. A portion of the second week will be helping the staff at the CCE put on an outreach camp to families from the local elementary school. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to see and experience the history and culture of this former communist country that so desperately needs to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose

While our hope is that we’ll show Christ’s love in all that we say and do, the Serving Slovakia team has two main purposes. First, we want to connect with the Slovak people in relevant ways (freshman & family camp), so they’ll be open to hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Second, we hope to be an encouragement to our friends at the Center for Christian Education, who faithfully serve and love the people of Slovakia in Christ’s name.

Impact Indonesia
Impact Indonesia is a unique ministry opportunity for high school and college-aged students to be stretched and serve God across the world. It is an exciting way to see how the body of Christ works and uses students to make a difference.

Our Partner

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a support organization that is sharing the love of Jesus Christ through aviation and technology so that isolated people may be physically and spiritually transformed. MAF serves 1,000’s of Christian and Humanitarian Organizations through aviation, communications, and information technology as well as learning technologies.

Our Plan

For many years New Heights has been serving and developing a unique relationship with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) missionaries in Papua, Indonesia. Our main ministry to MAF will be planning and serving at their annual family conference - bringing camp to them! You'll also have an opportunity to visit a remote village in Papua, so you can experience and better understand MAF's ministry in Indonesia. Our hope for the whole trip is that we can be a source of encouragement to the people who are faithfully serving Jesus in this remote part of the world.

Our Purpose

We want the MAF families to feel that they are at the center of God's love and care. As we serve the MAF families we want to build relationships that encourage them in their ministry in Indonesia, as well as build connections and offer support for them on this side of the world.
